This 2010 Axcell Yachts 650 is a custom power catamaran built with an innovative air-lift system that reduces draft and allows the hull to ride higher in the water. At 65 feet with a beam of over 20 feet, she is the only 650 model ever constructed by Axcell Yachts. Twin Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel engines produce 2,030 total horsepower and drive surface-piercing ZF MiniRex articulated drives, delivering a cruising speed of approximately 31 knots and a top speed near 40 knots. The hull is fiberglass with dual engine rooms, each containing a single engine mounted on the centerline coupled to a carbon-fiber jackshaft.
The interior features three staterooms and three heads finished in high-end materials including hardwood flooring, leather upholstery, and custom glass showers. The galley is appointed with granite countertops and black appliances, supported by generous pantry storage and a dedicated laundry room with washer, dryer, and a fold-down bunk. The main salon opens to a spacious layout with a leather sofa, offering ample accommodation for extended cruising.
Electronics include dual Raymarine E120 chartplotters with GPS and radar, a Raymarine Ray218 VHF radio, Clarion marine audio, and FLIR thermal imaging with remote. The helm features ZF electronic steering and Stidd seats. Bow and stern thrusters, powered by a PTO-driven hydraulic system, are operated via Lewmar windlass controls. An automatic air-blower system manages pressure for optimal speed and efficiency, controlled by onboard computer and throttle input.
A comprehensive 2022 refit included new surface drives, new joystick control system, new underwater lighting, new Sea Deck, and updated all electronics. The yacht's low operational hours reflect its history as a manufacturer's demonstration model that attended boat shows prior to initial registration in 2020.
