The 2010 Custom Line 97 is a 97-foot motor yacht built with a fiberglass planing hull and superstructure to RINA Class Certificate standards. Twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines produce 4,870 horsepower combined, delivering a maximum speed of 27 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 24 knots. The yacht carries 12,400 liters of fuel for a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at economic cruising speed, plus 3,000 liters of fresh water capacity. A zero-speed stabilization system reduces roll motion for a smoother experience both underway and at anchor.
The interior accommodates up to ten guests across eight staterooms, with seven heads and capacity for five crew members. Four generous double cabins below deck each feature large oval windows with underwater lighting to showcase the surrounding seascape. The lobby has been enlarged, and the design incorporates an additional crew cabin. Light-colored oak cabinetry with walnut inserts creates a contemporary atmosphere throughout.
The flybridge features a hardtop with a central opening that can be adjusted for sun or shade, alongside a forward relaxation area and glass door access to the pilothouse. The aft deck includes a generous dining area and an aft-facing sun sofa with shade. An enlarged garage accommodates a larger tender, accessed via a new garage door and swim ladder. The design complies with MCA Short Range coding for yachts between 24 and 38 meters. At displacement speeds of 12 to 14 knots, the hull maintains perfect trim while significantly reducing fuel consumption for extended voyages.
