The 2010 Hanse 545 is a 53-foot sailing yacht built in Germany by the design firm Judel & Vrolijk & Co. Its fiberglass hull and modern styling—marked by a low coachroof, flush hatches, and large vertical windows in the saloon—give the boat a clean, contemporary appearance. Powered by a single Yanmar 4JH4-HTE diesel engine producing 110 hp, the yacht is capable of speeds exceeding 9 knots in good conditions and performs well even in light air. The deep keel and large spade rudder deliver responsive steering and stable tracking.
The Hanse 545 is built around the concept of shorthanded sailing, with all running lines led aft to the twin helm stations, allowing one person or a couple to sail the boat comfortably. The spacious cockpit features twin steering wheels and a folding table suitable for chart plotting. Below deck, the yacht offers a roomy three-cabin, two-head layout designed for cruising comfort. A hinged transom folds down to create a swim platform and provides access to a garage sized to hold a dinghy.
The engine has approximately 4,500 operating hours. The boat combines practical deck design with uncluttered layout, making it straightforward to manage underway. Large saloon windows flood the interior with natural light, enhancing the sense of space throughout the accommodations.
