The Kadey-Krogen 48 North Sea is a fiberglass trawler built in 2010 with a wide beam of 17.33 feet. This two-owner boat has operated primarily in warm waters, including recent time in the Bahamas, and has not wintered in northern climates. The main engine is a John Deere 6068 with 3,379 hours, paired with a Northern Lights 12 kW generator running 1,704 hours. Stabilization comes from TRAC hydraulic stabilizers, and maneuvering is assisted by an ABT hydraulic bow thruster.
The boat carries a full suite of Furuno electronics and features an ESI fuel polishing system. Onboard is a Nautica RIB tender with a 25 hp Yamaha outboard and a Steelhead auto-rotating crane for launch and retrieval. The Raritan Purasan waste treatment system handles sanitation needs.
Interior appointments include granite countertops and a galley equipped with stainless steel appliances: a Viking range, dishwasher, and trash compactor. An audiophile sound system is installed throughout. The boat received a fresh bottom paint and wax in May 2026, and recent maintenance has been completed across all systems and equipment.
