2011 Kadey-Krogen 48

This 2011 Kadey-Krogen 48 is a hybrid AE model, blending the proven Krogen 48 hull with Advanced Ergonomics refinements. The fiberglass trawler measures 48.5 feet with a 17.3-foot beam and is powered by a single John Deere 6.8L diesel engine rated at 210 hp, paired with a Northern Lights 12kW generator. The boat holds 1,000 gallons of fuel, providing an approximate range of 4,700 nautical miles at 6 knots. TRAC hydraulic active fin stabilizers are fitted for motion control.

Between 2024 and 2026, the boat underwent significant modernization. A stern thruster was added to complement the existing 15hp hydraulic bow thruster. Electronics include a newer Garmin 15-inch multifunction display. A Starlink satellite antenna delivers high-speed internet connectivity. Climate control comprises a newer master air-conditioning unit with salon air handler, and a new ISO transformer and inverter manage onboard power.

The galley features a Viking propane range, GE dishwasher, and stacked washer-dryer combination. Two Raritan Marine Elegance electric heads have been installed as part of the sanitary upgrades. A 2021 Suzuki 50hp outboard on a high-end RIB is included as the tender.
