This 2010 Selene 60 Ocean Trawler is a fiberglass flybridge cruiser built for long-range coastal and offshore passage-making. At 65 feet in length with a 17.85-foot beam, she combines seaworthy proportions with practical cruising capability. Twin John Deere 6068 engines deliver 270 horsepower each at 2,500 RPM, paired with ZF gearboxes and electronic controls. She carries 6,300 liters of fuel and 1,900 liters of water.
The boat accommodates three cabins and two heads. Below decks, the galley includes electric cooking, a microwave combi oven, a Liebherr refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and trash compactor. The saloon and both guest cabins are fitted with television. A flybridge galley adds an electric cooktop, refrigeration, freezer, and ice maker for extended cruising. Dual helm stations—one in the pilothouse and one on the flybridge—allow operation from either location.
Navigation systems are comprehensive: twin Raymarine E140 hybrid touchscreens at the pilothouse helm, twin E120 screens on the flybridge, 12kW open array and 4kW radome radars, DSM echosounder, dual-station DSC VHF with Class B AIS, hydraulic autopilot, wind instruments, and thermal imaging cameras mounted in the engine room and aft flybridge. FLIR night-vision capability is included.
Mechanical and operational equipment includes dual Northern Lights generators (20kW and 7kW), bow and stern thrusters, digital hydraulic stabilizers, Maxwell windlass with dual chain capstans, an HRO 160-liter-per-hour watermaker, and fuel polishing system. A Steelhead electrohydraulic crane rated for 668 kilograms and hydraulic boarding passerelle are fitted. Twin liferafts, EPIRB, and multiple fire extinguishers provide safety infrastructure. Engine hours stand at 2,825.
