This 2011 Botin TP 52 is a 52-foot composite racing yacht built to compete at the highest levels of IRC and ORC sailing. The boat features a Yanmar 54-horsepower auxiliary engine and measures 14.5 feet on the beam, delivering the performance-oriented design and proportions characteristic of the class.
A comprehensive refit completed in 2011 addressed major systems and components. The hull, mast, boom, and bowsprit received a complete paint job. All running rigging was replaced, including new systems for halyards and retrievers, with fresh deck-level plumbing throughout. The winch system was overhauled and serviced. Navigation and tactical systems were upgraded with new computer equipment for Expedition software. A new Cariboni hydraulic pump was installed for mast control and deflector operation.
The backstay assembly received new components from Armare, with the original backstays retained as spares, serviced and kept in working condition. This yacht is ready for campaign sailing in competitive racing events.
