The Catalina 445 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built around a balanced layout that works equally well for extended passage-making and entertaining. Below deck, three cabins and two heads accommodate a cruising family or small group, while a spacious salon, dedicated navigation station, and functional galley support life aboard. The cockpit features twin helms, a folding table, and straightforward access to the transom, with all control lines led aft to electric winches for easy sail handling. In-mast furling on both mainsail and headsail simplifies operations, and the shoal draft and air draft configuration suit East Coast and Bahamas waters.
The boat is powered by a single 54-horsepower Yammer diesel engine with 723 hours of running time. A bow thruster aids maneuvering. Dual air conditioning systems provide cooling, and shore power connections are equipped with SmartPlug technology.
Recent work includes a comprehensive bottom job completed in May 2025, with the hull media-blasted, coated with epoxy barrier, and repainted. The hull was washed and waxed in 2025, and new mattresses were installed that same year. The mainsail is a North Sails in-mast furling model from 2024. The cockpit table was refinished in May 2026. The generator has 204 hours of use. Low engine and generator hours reflect moderate usage over the boat's service history.
