The 2011 Hunter 39 is a 39-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for both comfort and performance. The boat features dual furling sails—headsail and mainsail, with the latter replaced in 2020—mounted on a stainless arch with traveler for straightforward handling. A wing keel delivers stability while maintaining shoal draft. The single Yammer 3JH5E diesel engine produces 39 horsepower with only 300 hours of service time, providing a cruising speed of 6 knots and maximum hull speed of 7 knots.
Below deck, the yacht offers two private cabins and a spacious salon. The galley is well-appointed, and accommodation includes a head with an enclosed walk-in shower and electric operation with fresh water flush. A 12-volt refrigerator and freezer, Force Ten propane stove and oven, and queen-size mattress in the aft main berth round out the living spaces.
The yacht is outfitted with modern electronics including a Raymarine Axiom 9 multifunction display installed in 2024, Quantum Doppler radar added in 2025, and newly upgraded VHF radio and AIS transceiver. An electric windlass simplifies anchoring, paired with a 44-pound Rocna anchor and 150 feet of chain. Additional upgrades include a 16,000 BTU air-conditioning unit, full cockpit enclosure, and dodger with bimini top, all completed in 2024 or 2025. A drip-less shaft seal and line cutter were recently installed. The boat rides on a feathering propeller for improved efficiency.
