The Hanse 400 is a 39-foot fiberglass cruising sailyacht built in 2009 and commissioned in 2011. Powered by a single 40 hp Yammer diesel engine, it reaches a maximum speed of 8.5 knots with a cruising speed of 6.5 knots. The design combines a fin keel and monohull configuration optimized for both comfort and performance across coastal and offshore conditions.
The interior layout provides three cabins and two heads, accommodating extended cruising. The yacht has been regularly maintained and upgraded between 2020 and 2025.
Core systems include a Raymarine navigation suite, solar panels, a wind generator, and Victron energy management. A watermaker is also installed, supporting extended self-sufficiency at sea. These systems work together to minimize reliance on conventional power generation during extended voyages.
