2011 Tahoe 228

The 2011 Tahoe 228 is a 22-foot fiberglass runabout powered by a single 300-horsepower MerCruiser gasoline engine. Built for active water recreation, this boat combines practical storage with open seating across multiple zones.

The layout centers on a helm station with adjustable, swiveling driver and passenger bucket seats featuring flip-up bolsters. A tilt steering wheel and easy-to-read gauges sit alongside storage and a tilt rack-and-pinion steering mechanism. The aft section includes an L-lounge with compartments below, plus a removable cooler in port-side cushioning. Bow lounge seating also provides storage underneath. Two deep in-floor storage compartments and a separate in-floor cooler serve gear and supplies.

Water access and recreation features dominate the design. Fore and aft platforms with boarding ladders and non-skid surfaces allow safe entry and exit, while a walk-thru transom gate simplifies access to the swim platform. A wakeboard and kneeboard storage area sits aft, and an anchor locker occupies the bow. A color-keyed acrylic Bimini top provides sun protection. A ski ring supports towing activities.

Additional equipment includes port under-gunnel rod storage, a Lowrance digital depth finder, AM/FM/CD stereo with MP3 jack and four directional speakers, and console storage. The boat rides on a beam of 8.5 feet.
