The 2012 Beneteau Oceanis 48 is a proven offshore cruiser that completed the 2024 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers and spent the 2025–2026 season cruising the Bahamas. The fiberglass hull measures 48 feet in length with a 15-foot-8-inch beam and draws just 6 feet, making her well suited to shallow-water exploration. She is powered by a single 75-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine.
The three-cabin, two-head layout accommodates extended passagemaking and cruising. The boat carries substantial cruising systems: a 560-ampere-hour lithium battery bank paired with a 1,050-watt solar array mounted on a custom arch, a watermaker, three electric winches, a windlass with a new SD60 saildrive installed in 2025, bow thruster, and three-zone air conditioning. Navigation is handled by a 2026 Simrad 12-inch chartplotter. A 2024 North mainsail and genoa complement the 2024 standing rigging.
Recent service work completed between 2024 and 2026 included fresh bottom paint and major systems overhaul. The saildrive was replaced in 2025. A 2021 Highfield 340 tender with a 20-horsepower outboard is included with the yacht. USCG documentation and proper customs importation are in place.
