2012 Chaparral 327 SSX

The 2012 Chaparral 327 SSX is a 33-foot bowrider powered by twin Volvo Penta 8.1GiCE-Q 400 HP fuel-injected V8 engines with approximately 600 hours. The boat cruises comfortably at 30 knots and reaches 44 knots at wide-open throttle. It features joystick docking, Volvo Penta DPS Duo-Prop silent drive outdrives, and a Captain's Call exhaust system for responsive handling and control.

The layout accommodates overnight guests with sleeping berths for two, a galley with refrigerator, microwave, and water heater, and a VacuFlush head. The open cockpit features a U-shaped seating arrangement, electrically actuated spa seating in the bow, and an extended swim platform with fold-down ladder. A full Eisen glass enclosure protects the cabin, and a propane grill and transom shower serve outdoor entertaining. Deck equipment includes a windlass anchor system, underwater and cockpit lighting, and full canvas covers for sun and weather protection.

Recent major work includes new manifolds, mixing elbows, and catalytic converters on both engines, replacement of both DPS silent drive outdrives, new transom assemblies, generator service, and updated upholstery. A Westerbeke 3.5 kW generator provides onboard power, with 30-amp shore power connection. Navigation is handled by a Garmin suite including chartplotter, fishfinder, autopilot with remote, and 12-mile radar. A Fusion stereo system with multiple helm stations rounds out the electronics package.

The hull is fiberglass with deep-V design and has been lift-kept since 2020. All systems are bonded with galvanic isolation and anti-corrosion protection. Documented maintenance records covering service from 2022 through 2026 are available for review.
