2012 Chaparral 327 SSX

The 2012 Chaparral 327 SSX is a 32-foot bowrider built on a deep-V fiberglass hull, powered by twin 8.2-liter MerCruiser MAG HO V-8 engines delivering 860 horsepower combined. The boat cruises at 30 knots and carries engine hours of approximately 975 on each side. It balances open-water performance with genuine overnight cruising capability, accommodating a large group during the day while providing sleeping quarters and head facilities for extended trips.

The cockpit features a hardtop with radar arch, a wet bar with refrigerator, and an electric aft lounge that folds completely flat into a sun pad. Forward seating converts into a full lay-flat sleeping area with custom cushioning. Below, the air-conditioned cabin includes a leatherette settee that sleeps two, a microwave, flat-screen television, and an enclosed head with shower and vacu-flush toilet. A Lewmar electric windlass with stainless steel plow anchor and 25 feet of chain complete the ground tackle.

Recent upgrades include a new Mercruiser Bravo X outdrive on the port side and a retrofitted lithium iron phosphate battery system paired with a Xantrex Freedom XC 2000 inverter-charger, enabling silent operation of cabin appliances and air conditioning at anchor. A Westerbeke gasoline generator provides backup power. The boat includes a heavy-duty Ace aluminum tri-axle trailer with integrated brakes, toolbox, and spare tire.

The hull, gelcoat, and mechanical systems are in sound condition. A marine survey rated the boat above average overall.
