This 34-foot sportfish combines proven design and advanced construction in a rare package. Built using vacuum-infusion resin techniques with Core-Cell and Divinycell foam coring, the fiberglass hull features a design by naval architect Ward Setzler, known for wide chines and a deep-entry bow that deliver a dry, soft ride. The hull was reinforced with Kevlar in the bottom for impact resistance. A layer of Kevlar in the bottom provides additional impact resistance.
Power comes from twin Volvo Penta IPS 350 engines producing 260 horsepower each, delivering both efficiency and distinctive joystick maneuverability. The pod-drive configuration typically achieves cruising speeds in the 28–32 knot range while burning considerably less fuel than comparable shaft-drive or outboard setups. The aft engine placement also opens significant storage and cabin space below deck.
The builder's background includes design and development work for respected names in the industry, with components and expertise contributing to builds by Fountain, Eastport, Jarrett Bay, and Hatteras. Brooks Boatworks prioritized quality and custom builds, making these boats scarce on the market. The IPS pods are new, and the boat has received meticulous maintenance throughout its ownership.
