This 37-foot Hinckley Picnic Boat MKIII is a Michael Peters design built on a shallow-draft fiberglass hull finished in Flag Blue awlgrip with a cream boot stripe and red bottom. Twin Volvo diesel engines produce 600 horsepower and cruise at 24 knots with a top speed of 29 knots. The boat is equipped with joystick control via the Jet Stick II system, which simplifies operation in tight quarters and at the beach.
The pilothouse and cockpit offer seating for ten, with powered windows and overhead hatches that flood the space with light and air. Below, the accommodations include air conditioning throughout, and the pilothouse features its own climate control as well. A removable table provides flexibility for dining or entertaining. Custom details include coaming gates on both sides for convenient boarding, a transom door, and a spacious layout designed around comfort and usability.
Recent upgrades include a full electronics suite with Raymarine Lighthouse 4 Axiom XL 19 display, ST-70 autopilot, SR200 24-inch HD scanner, Sirius Weather, and Standard Horizon VHF radio. All coolers and after-coolers were serviced and replaced during the 2022–23 winter. The boat has been maintained in a heated building and is ready for use.
