The 2012 Jeanneau 57 is a 57-foot fiberglass sailing yacht powered by a 140-horsepower Volkswagen diesel engine. Designed by Philippe Briand, this boat has undergone extensive professional refitting between 2021 and 2025, with modifications oriented toward offshore cruising. The yacht features engineered running backstays, a storm sail plan, a custom hardtop with integrated lighting, and a clear dodger. Dual Webasto diesel heaters provide redundancy for cold-weather passages. Fuel tankage has been expanded to achieve over 1,000 nautical miles of motoring range.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates four cabins and four heads. Systems throughout have been evaluated and upgraded with offshore redundancy. The Volkswagen 2.5L diesel main engine and Cummins/Onan generator both received full rebuilds in 2025. A watertight aft lazarette and an extensive spares inventory support extended passages. The boat carries a detailed service record reflecting years of professional maintenance and systematic upgrades to core systems.
