2012 Lagoon 380 S2

The Lagoon 380 S2 is a 38-foot fiberglass catamaran built with solid hull below the waterline and foam-and-balsa coring above, finished with vinylester resin in the outer laminate layers for blister protection. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 58 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 6.5 knots.

The layout maximizes the beam of 21 feet across six cabins and two heads. Dual sliding doors connect the saloon to the aft cockpit, while vertical windows throughout reduce solar heat gain and open the interior visually. The galley is positioned on the upper level, and the helm station offers clear sightlines with direct connection to the main living area. The cockpit provides seating for six.
