2016 Lagoon 380

The 2016 Lagoon 380 is a 38-foot catamaran built to the VPLP design philosophy, combining easy handling with solid performance under sail. Twin 40 hp diesel engines power the boat, while the classic sail plan—mainsail, jib, gennaker, and symmetrical spinnaker—makes it manageable even with a small crew. The shallow draft and aft platform design open access to shallow anchorages and simplify swimming or tender deployment.

The four-cabin layout sleeps up to ten and works equally well for family cruising or charter use. The saloon features a 360-degree panoramic view with an equipped galley positioned to take in the seascape. The spacious cockpit serves as the main gathering space for dining, relaxation, and shelter. Interior joinery uses Alpi® reconstituted wood throughout, built to endure over time. The straightforward deck arrangement reflects Lagoon's practicality.

This boat comes equipped for autonomous cruising with solar panels, a power converter, bimini top, and a motorized tender. A complete retrofit was performed in 2021. Regular maintenance has been documented since the boat's base in Guadeloupe, with the hull hauled annually and engines serviced to specification.
