This 2012 Lagoon 450 F catamaran was built as hull 148 and has been maintained with careful attention throughout its life. The 45-foot beam catamaran is powered by twin 108 hp Yammer diesel engines and equipped with a Cummins generator for extended cruising. The fiberglass hull features a wide 25.75-foot beam, offering the interior volume and stability characteristic of the design.
The boat accommodates four cabins plus one additional bunk, with five heads distributed throughout. Two navigation stations—one on the flybridge and one in the central cabin—provide flexibility for passage planning and day sailing. The galley includes two refrigerators, one freezer, a dishwasher, and washing machine. Additional onboard amenities include a television, DVD player, and PlayStation for entertainment.
Equipment reflects preparation for extended offshore passage. A freshwater generator produces 100 liters per hour from saltwater. Solar panels and a wind generator supplement the power systems, while a Webasto heater provides warmth. Navigation and communication equipment includes dual VHF radios and a satellite SAILOR 150FBB system with RedBox router. An S180 Spade anchor serves as the primary anchor, with a standard Delta as backup. Two dinghies—a Highfield with Honda 20 hp engine and a smaller Zodiac—are carried aboard, along with a three-seat canoe.
The sailing inventory includes mainsail, genoa, gennaker, and parasailor. Other equipment includes a Hydrovane wind vane, carbon gangway, and safety gear. Yammer engine controls were installed in 2019, replacing the original Ultraflex system. The battery bank was extended the same year. A copper coating protects the hull below the waterline.
