This 2013 Dinghy LDC 2000 is a 14-foot sailing dinghy measuring 5.75 feet across the beam. The boat sails well and shows normal wear from use but remains solid and ready for the water. It's equipped with a gennaker and self-draining cockpit, combining stability with genuine performance capability—comfortable for recreational sailing yet responsive enough for more demanding conditions.
The LDC 2000 descends from the Laser 2000 and maintains an active class following with established club racing fleets. The design has proven itself as both a capable training platform and a capable small cruiser, used by military organizations including the British Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force. Its progression-friendly design makes it suitable for sailors developing their skills and moving toward racing.
This model comes from 2013, the first year RS Sailing took over production and introduced design refinements. Rather than a traditional trailer, the boat includes a custom Dynamic dolly for launching and transport.
