This 2013 Dykstra 60 is a modern interpretation of the classic pilot cutter design, built in collaboration between Dykstra naval architects and DeVosDeVries interior architects. The aluminum hull carries a distinctive metallic bronze finish, while a carbon mast and boom provide excellent stability with minimal ballast despite the 2.6-metre draft. All sail controls operate from the cockpit, making the boat straightforward to handle under canvas. The Perkins diesel engine delivers 134 horsepower for auxiliary power.
The deck showcases wide teak planks and solid teak cap rails, creating a sense of openness and visual appeal. Below, the interior is modern and spacious, with two double cabins accommodating four guests and two full heads. The design balances classic lines with contemporary comfort and functionality throughout.
A comprehensive refit was completed at K&M Yachtbuilders in Makkum during winter 2020–2021, addressing systems and equipment to bring the yacht to current standards.
