2011 Oyster 575

The Oyster 575 is a 58.69-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2011 by the British shipyard Oyster Marine, known for reliable ocean-cruising designs developed with naval architect Rob Humphreys. The hull is powered by a single 150 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine. The design balances the capability for extended blue-water cruising with the manageability for private owners and families to operate without professional crew, featuring a thoughtfully laid out deck with dual helm stations, forward guest area, and generous tank and storage capacity throughout.

Below deck, the yacht accommodates four cabins and two heads. The intelligent cockpit design separates working and guest areas, with the deck layout and storage solutions supporting the self-sufficiency demanded of long-distance cruising. The boat's reputation is built on high-quality construction and technical installations that have made it a favored platform for extended ocean passages.

A comprehensive refit was completed for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, including installation of a new Volvo Penta engine and a complete North 3Di sail wardrobe. Navigation systems were upgraded to B&G equipment, with communications upgraded to include satellite phone, SSB radio, dual VHF radios, Navtex, and weather decoders. Practical modifications were made both on deck and below to enhance functionality and performance.

The yacht remains actively maintained with continuous technical service and is currently in heated indoor winter storage in Germany.
