The 2013 Gemini Legacy is a 35-foot sailing catamaran built from fiberglass with a 15-foot beam and shallow 34-inch draft. Twin Yammer 15HP diesel engines with low hours provide reliable power, delivering 6.5-knot cruising speed under engine and 11-knot sailing performance. The boat features a square-top mainsail and Code Zero on a retractable bowsprit, with all lines led aft for single-handed operation. An electric power winch eases mainsail handling, and new dripless shaft seals were installed on both engines.
The saloon and cabins are air-conditioned and heated, with a convertible dinette that doubles as an additional berth. Overstuffed leather cushions furnish the main salon, which includes Corian countertops and dual stainless-steel sinks. The galley houses a Dometic fridge and freezer, two-burner propane stove, and microwave with extensive storage nearby. A quiet-flush electric head serves the interior, and natural light and ventilation flow throughout.
Navigation and electronics include a Raymarine Quantum 2 Doppler Radar, touchscreen GPS chartplotter, ST60 Tridata instrument, ST60+ wind instruments, P70 autopilot controller, and iCOM VHF radio. The cockpit features custom bench seating with cushions, a dedicated helm seat with clear sightlines, electric anchor windlass, stainless swim ladder, transom shower, and bow seats. Double lifelines with stainless stanchions and gates secure the deck.
Power systems include a Fischer-Panda generator rebuilt in 2024, solar panels, inverter, and battery charger for efficient off-grid cruising. A 2022 power winch and Clarion satellite radio with SiriusXM compatibility round out onboard equipment. The simplified sail plan and high-efficiency rig prioritize easy handling and performance.
