The Leopard 44 is a well-regarded cruising catamaran designed by Morelli & Melvin, combining offshore capability with spacious accommodation and a forward cockpit layout that defined the model's success. This 2013 example has undergone substantial modernisation between 2020 and 2026, with comprehensive system upgrades throughout.
The four-cabin, four-head layout provides comfortable accommodation for cruising or extended stays. Equipment is extensive: 840Ah LiFePO4 lithium batteries installed in 2023, 1500W solar array with custom stainless steel structure, air conditioning, upgraded Raymarine navigation suite with Axiom chartplotter, and Starlink. The sailing rig features new standing rigging from 2021 (inspected and tuned in 2025) and new running rigging from 2025. Rebuilt sail drives with new seals and bearings were completed in 2026.
The two 78 hp diesel engines power the fiberglass hull. Additional equipment includes a full custom Sunbrella cockpit enclosure, a Highfield tender, and an electric Torqeedo outboard. The boat is registered under Spanish Lista 6ª and is charter compliant in Spain.
