This 2013 RM Yachts 1260 is a Marc Lombard-designed performance cruiser built in marine plywood and epoxy by RM Yachts (Fora Marine) in France. Though constructed in 2013, the boat was launched and commissioned in 2014. At 39 feet with a 14-foot beam, she combines offshore cruising capability with racer-cruiser speed. Twin keels and a single rudder provide confident handling and allow the yacht to dry out. A Volvo Penta D2-40 diesel (40 hp, 1,420 hours) with folding propeller and bow thruster delivers efficient cruising around 5.5 knots, with a maximum speed of 10 knots.
The sailing plan is comprehensive and modern. An Ullman Kevlar wardrobe includes a square-top mainsail (48 m²) and genoa (45 m²), both from 2014, plus a storm jib (25 m²), furling gennaker (80 m²), and a Parasailor (140 m²) for downwind performance.
Navigation and autopilot systems are well-equipped with a Raymarine EV400 Sail autopilot, Raymarine Axiom 9 plotter (2019), AIS Class B transceiver, radar, Navtex, and EPIRB. Power generation and comfort are supported by a Watt & Sea 600 hydrogenerator, solar panels on the arch, an EFOY fuel-cell generator, and Webasto heating. The interior provides three cabins and one head for cruising comfort and autonomy.
