2014 Hanse 575

The 2014 Hanse 575 is a 56-foot cruising yacht designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and built by Hanse Yachts. She combines strong sailing performance with refined living spaces, powered by a Volvo Penta D3-150 diesel engine producing 147 horsepower. The fiberglass hull carries a triple-spreader mast rigged for efficient handling, with a self-tacking jib and fully battened mainsail installed new in 2023. The boat cruises at eight knots and reaches ten knots under power or sail.

Below deck, the yacht arranges four cabins and four heads across a thoughtfully planned interior finished in American cherry with teak flooring. The forward owner's cabin features a centreline double bed and en-suite bathroom. Two aft guest cabins each hold double beds with en-suite facilities, and a bow crew cabin provides additional bunk space. The saloon opens to a U-shaped galley on the port side, equipped with a three-burner gas stove, dual refrigeration, and extensive storage. A large entertainment system includes a flatscreen television on an electric lift, while air conditioning maintains comfort throughout.

Recent upgrades include new mainsail and jib sails fitted in 2023, a Victron energy management system with six AGM batteries installed in 2023, and flexible solar panels added in 2024. The electrical installation supports 12v, 24v, and 230v systems with a Fisher Panda eight-kilowatt generator and inverter/charger. Navigation equipment comprises four B&G Triton multifunction displays, two 12-inch Zeus Touch chartplotters, three-gigahertz broadband radar, and B&G autopilot with AIS transponder.

The boat carries a new Highfield tender from 2021 with Yamaha 9.9 horsepower outboard and spare six-horsepower engine, both installed in 2023. Safety equipment includes life raft, pyrotechnics, manual and electric bilge pumps, and fire extinguishers. The anchor windlass motor was replaced in 2025, and anchor chain was renewed and lengthened in 2023. Engine hours stand at 1,719. VAT has been paid, and the yacht is ready for immediate use.
