2014 Hinckley Talaria 34

The 2014 Talaria 34 is a composite-hulled jet boat built by Hinckley with twin 260-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines and Hamilton jet drives. The design incorporates a modern hull optimized for rough-water handling, supported by Hinckley's DualGuard composite construction with Kevlar E-glass outer skin, aircraft-grade balsa core, and carbon-fiber inner skin. The boat reaches 29 knots and cruises at 25 knots, with joystick control integrating steering, throttle, and a proportional electric bow thruster for responsive maneuvering.

The pilothouse interior is finished in satin-varnished cherry with a cabin sole of varnished teak and tulipwood. The layout flows from the pilothouse companionway aft to a galley on the port side with a stainless steel sink, electric cooktop, and front-loading refrigerator. A private head sits to starboard with a Corian counter, porcelain sink, and Grohe shower. Forward is a V-berth with ample storage and an overhead hatch. The pilothouse features four large frameless stainless steel windows with opening side panels, helm and navigator seats, and settees port and starboard, all upholstered in white Luxor leather with navy piping.

Deck and cockpit are laid out generously, with oversized low-profile aluminum hatches overhead, a teak toe rail, varnished handrails, and stainless steel cleats and chocks throughout. The cockpit includes forward and aft-facing seating, a transom door to the swim platform, and a shower with hot and cold water. Twin trim tabs, a 12-volt windlass with wireless remote control, and three electric bilge pumps provide operational capability.

Recent updates include new 12-volt house batteries and start batteries, upgraded fuel sensors, a new heading sensor for the joystick system, a Fusion stereo with cockpit speakers, and a new cockpit sun awning with carbon-fiber poles. The engines have 780 hours, with heat exchanger and cooler servicing completed in 2021. The boat is equipped with a Raymarine multifunction display, autopilot, radar, and VHF radio.
