The 2014 Lagoon 400 S2 is a proven 39-foot cruising catamaran built on a fiberglass hull with a beam of nearly 24 feet, offering the spacious, stable platform the design is known for. Twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 80 hp combined drive the boat through saildrives, with service records current as of mid-2025. The layout includes four cabins and four heads, all equipped with electric toilets that were renewed in 2022 with new seats and pumps.
The boat's power and energy systems have been substantially upgraded. A new Victron AGM battery bank with twin MPPT chargers supports a custom solar array of seven 100-watt panels mounted on the arch. A watermaker, hot-water system with new pump, and three refrigeration units—including saloon under-counter and top-loading models plus a cockpit unit—provide self-sufficiency for extended time away from shore. Air heating in one hull adds comfort in cooler seasons.
Deck equipment includes an electric windlass installed in 2022 with 100 meters of chain and a Mantus anchor, a 2.5-meter folding aluminum gangway, and a davit system recently upgraded to position the tender higher and clearer of waves. A new bimini cover, fresh cockpit cushions in marine teal, and CCTV cameras in the cockpit and saloon round out the exterior. Running rigging was renewed within the past two years and all winches were serviced in 2024.
The tender package comprises a new Highfield aluminum dinghy paired with a RemigoOne 1500-watt electric outboard, offering quiet and emission-free operation. Below decks, navigation relies on a complete Raymarine suite with plotter, multi-instruments, and VHF, with software upgraded in 2024. The galley features an Eno three-burner gas stove and oven, and audio speakers in both saloon and cockpit with saloon control.
