The 2014 Lagoon 620 is a 62-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Volvo Penta D3-150 diesel engines, each producing 150 horsepower. Built with a beam of nearly 33 feet, the hull provides exceptional stability and interior volume. The design draws on the collaborative expertise of VPLP and Nauta Design, yielding a layout that balances performance under sail with comfortable cruising. Natural light floods the interior through large windows and sliding doors that connect the main salon to the cockpit, creating an open, airy atmosphere throughout the boat.
The accommodation plan includes six cabins with five en-suite heads, providing sleeping arrangements for a large crew or guest group. The main salon features an L-shaped settee to starboard with convertible dining tables and a forward-facing navigation station. The galley sits on the port side of the salon, equipped with Miele appliances including induction cooktop, oven, and dishwasher, alongside two Liebherr upright refrigerators and a freezer in the adjacent companionway. Additional storage and a utility room with washer and dryer occupy the port midships cabin, while a workbench is fitted in the port forepeak.
Sailing performance is enhanced by an in-boom furling mainsail with carbon canoe boom, two furling headsails, and four electric winches on the flybridge. Two spinnakers—one on a continuous line furler and one with a sock—offer versatility in different wind conditions. The boat is fitted with twin 3-blade folding Gori propellers, a bow thruster, and a 17kVA Onan generator. A complete navigation suite includes B&G and Simrad systems with radar and chartplotters. Lithium house batteries rated at 2000 amps provide extended power, and a Sea Recovery 210-liter-per-hour watermaker supports self-sufficiency at sea. A 4.2-meter Highfield RIB tender with 60hp Yamaha outboard is carried via hydraulic lift. Deck features include a custom hardtop bimini, teak cockpit flooring, electric grill, and a hydraulic telescoping passerelle. New trampolines were installed in 2024, and the anchor system and electronics enclosure have been recently updated.
