2015 Lagoon 620 Essence

The 2015 Lagoon 620 Essence is a 62-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin 300 hp Volvo diesel engines. This Essence-version boat features a lateral galley layout with accommodation for four guests across four cabins, plus two additional crew cabins—one with en-suite shower and head. Five heads total serve the interior. Nubuck leather upholstery wraps the cabins, while exterior seating is finished in dark grey and graphite. Double electronic engine controls provide ease of operation across the broad 33-foot beam.

The galley and saloon are well equipped for extended cruising, with a dishwasher, washing machine, induction cooktop, conventional oven, and microwave. Fresh water production is handled by an onboard water maker, while reversible air conditioning and electric heating maintain comfort. A bow thruster aids maneuvering, and electrical power comes from a generator, dual inverters (5000w and 2000w), multiple battery chargers, and 840 amp-hours of gel batteries.

Navigation and entertainment systems include Raymarine B&G electronics: radar, GPS plotter, autopilot, depth sounder, log-speedometer, dual VHF with AIS, and wind instrumentation. A Bose home cinema system with TV, DVD player, and radio completes the package. The sails comprise a fully battened Hydranet mainsail, electric furling staysail and genoa, and electric Code 0 furler, all managed by Harken winches and Profurl furlers on a carbon boom with Dyneema running rigging.

Deck features include a teak cockpit with table, bimini top, lazy bag, and lazyjacks for shade and sail control. A hydraulic aft platform facilitates water access, and a Highfield 4.6-meter tender with 60 hp Honda outboard is included for auxiliary transport. The propellers incorporate three folding blades with rope cutters for reliability and safety.
