The 2014 Leopard 58 is a large sailing catamaran built on a design that defined the modern flybridge cruising platform. At 58 feet with a 27-foot beam, she offers the interior volume and deck space expected of much larger yachts. The signature flybridge combines commanding helm ergonomics with extensive entertaining and lounging areas, and large panoramic windows flood the main saloon and galley with natural light. Twin Yanmar diesel engines—one original, one installed in 2019—deliver 210 horsepower combined and cruise at 7 knots with a maximum speed of 9.3 knots.
Accommodations span six cabins and six heads. Two forward guest cabins sit above the bridgedeck with their own access to the forward cockpit, a layout that maximizes privacy and ventilation. Dual queen cabins on the main deck face forward, and the galley is full-size with residential-grade refrigeration. The yacht carries 952 gallons of fresh water across four tanks, supported by dual water makers. Numerous showers and hand basins throughout, plus a full air conditioning system with 72,000 BTU capacity, support extended cruising or live-aboard use.
Power and systems are well-equipped. A Northern Lights 20 kW generator backs two water makers, a large refrigerator and freezer, and a Webasto air conditioning system. Eight AGM house batteries paired with a Victron inverter and charger support auxiliary power. The electrical system was modernized with Victron components and fresh batteries installed. Navigation and entertainment include a Raymarine Axiom plotter, autopilot, and multiple displays, along with VHF radio and stereo systems.
Recent work includes engine installation on the second Yanmar in 2019, electrical system modernization, battery replacement, refrigeration upgrades, and interior soft goods and woodwork refinishing. A hard top bimini and new isinglass on the flybridge are recent additions. The yacht carries an aluminum tender with outboard, liferaft, and solar panels. A Northern Lights generator, Edson steering wheel, and Ullman sails with Lewmar winches round out her offshore-capable systems.
