2014 M Boats 65

The M Boats 65 "Camiranga" is a 69-foot canting keel racing yacht designed by Soto Acebal and built in carbon by ML Boat. This hybrid design balances competitive performance with cruising comfort, featuring a modern layout with a spacious cockpit and interior. She displaces under 16 tons and carries a sail plan comparable to a V70, allowing smooth performance in light air. Her canting keel and daggerboards work together for speed and stability across varying conditions.

The boat is outfitted with a Southern Spars full carbon rig and North Sails 3DI carbon sails, optimized for both racing and cruising. Cariboni hydraulic systems manage the sails, winches, keel, and daggerboards, simplifying operation under all conditions. A single Volvo Penta diesel engine serves dual duty as both propulsion and generator, with capability to feed the hydraulic pump during regattas. For quiet cruising, she carries a sophisticated battery bank. Navigation systems include five independent GPS units, three separate communication systems, radar, and a FARO processor linked to a boat computer that continuously analyzes performance data against the yacht's polar curves.

Below deck, the interior includes eight carbon berths, two bathrooms, a full galley, and comfort equipment such as water maker, water heater, freezer, refrigerator, ice machine, espresso machine, oven, and stove. The yacht is equipped throughout with professional-grade gear from Henri Lloyd, Spinlock, and Ocean Safety for weather protection and personal safety.
