This 2014 Viking 46 Convertible is powered by twin MAN V8CR diesel engines delivering 2,000 horsepower combined, cruising at 33 knots and reaching 36 knots at full throttle. The composite hull measures 46 feet in length with a 16.5-foot beam, built to handle serious offshore conditions with the ruggedness Viking is known for.
The three-stateroom, two-head layout features a custom starboard VIP double stateroom designed and fabricated by Hinkley Boatworks, with high-gloss teak throughout. The boat includes a lower helm station with twin Garmin screens on the flying bridge level, Garmin electronics throughout, a Yacht Controller for single-operator capability, Starlink connectivity, and camera systems monitoring the bow, cockpit, and engine room. The flying bridge has been fitted with HVAC and flexible teak flooring. Bow seating includes a double lounge arrangement, and the cockpit features West Coast rails and bait system with new non-skid coating.
Significant mechanical work was completed in August 2022 during the 1,000-hour service, including removal, cleaning, and reinstallation of air coolers, heat exchangers, and raw water pumps on both main engines, plus turbo recondition and reinstallation with new gaskets and seals. Shafts were pulled and inspected, props tuned and balanced, and new Tides Marine dripless seals installed. A SeaKeeper 6 gyroscopic stabilizer was added in 2024, with bottom paint and propeller speed work completed that same year. Teak decks were refinished in 2025. The fire suppression system was re-certified in 2022, exterior soft goods and canvas were replaced in 2021, and a new Costa Clear flying bridge enclosure was installed in 2020.
