2015 Beneteau 38 Gran Tourismo

The 2015 Beneteau 38 Gran Tourismo is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 600 horsepower. The Air-Step hull design delivers strong performance, reaching speeds near 34 mph with cruising efficiency around 29 mph. The boat features joystick control and a bow thruster for easy maneuvering, paired with a Simrad NSS 12 EVO3S multifunction display that integrates radar, GPS, chartplotter, sounder, and autopilot.

The helm is positioned centerline with seating for eight to nine people in the cockpit area. The cabin benefits from abundant natural light, with an aft full-beam stateroom and a forward master stateroom featuring a centerline pedestal berth. Topside, a motorized sunroof, air conditioning, a newer cabin enclosure, and a wet bar with refrigeration provide comfort and entertaining space.

Recent mechanical work includes replacement of the DHP drives, new batteries, new freshwater washdown system, and a new sunroof motor. Seals, O-rings, heat exchangers, pumps, and belts have been replaced or refreshed, and the engine room has been reorganized to improve access and maintenance. Over $70,000 in updates were completed in the preceding three years. The boat is equipped with one head.
