2015 Dufour 560

The 2015 Dufour 560 is a 56-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat designed by Italian naval architect Umberto Felci. Built around a high-ballast hull and shallow 6.5-foot draft—uncommon for this size class—the yacht offers stability and the ability to anchor in shallow waters. The rig prioritizes ease of handling with an in-mast furling mainsail, self-tacking jib, and fixed bowsprit, making the boat manageable for shorthanded sailing despite its length.

The 560 sleeps up to four cabins with three heads. A spacious cockpit accommodates both active sailing and social gathering. Power comes from a single 109-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine. The yacht combines performance capability with comfort, equally suited to coastal cruising, racing, or offshore passages.

A comprehensive electrical refit was completed in 2025, including new four-battery lithium house bank (Epoch 48V 100 Ah units), two additional Epoch 12V 120 Ah lithium batteries for the house, and two Group 31 lead-acid batteries for the bow thruster. The system includes 1,440 watts of solar generation across eight panels, a new Victron battery charger, new 50-amp shore power cord, and refreshed AC panel. Spreader lights (white and blue) and associated wiring are new. A new dual 10-amp battery tender serves the bow thruster batteries. An AGM 12V engine battery was installed in 2022.
