2015 Hanse 385

The Hanse 385 is a modern performance sailing yacht built by Hanse Yachts, designed by Judel/Vrolijk. At 37.5 feet long with a 12.7-foot beam, the boat combines cruising comfort with responsive sailing characteristics. The hull features a fin keel with bulb and spade rudder, hand-laid construction with balsa core above the waterline and vinylester/epoxy laminate for strength and weight savings. The deck is cleanly finished with flush hatches and hidden fittings.

The sail plan consists of a fractional sloop rig with a mainsail around 35 square meters and self-tacking jib of approximately 31 square meters, totaling roughly 67 square meters of canvas. The mast stands approximately 17.3 meters above the waterline. Twin wheels and the self-tacking jib contribute to handling that responds well across changing conditions. A 30-horsepower diesel engine powers the yacht, with fuel capacity of around 160 liters and water tankage of approximately 320 liters.

The interior is available in two or three cabin layouts. The two-cabin version features a spacious saloon with seating for six, an L-shaped galley, and a single head. Throughout the accommodation, natural light enters via port lights and deck hatches. LED lighting and thoughtful storage solutions are integrated throughout. The design balances ease of use for various skill levels with the performance capabilities that appeal to experienced sailors.
