The 2015 Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 is a proven offshore racing platform, designed for performance whether sailed shorthanded or with a full crew. This 36.91-foot fiberglass sloop is powered by a single Yanmar diesel engine and carries a beam of 11.65 feet.
The boat is comprehensively equipped for offshore racing. On deck: a 6-person life raft, EPIRB, main and spare anchors, soft seating, jet boil on gimbal, and mast-mounted Nemesis instruments. Below, an onboard computer runs Adrena offshore navigation software. All standing rigging was renewed in 2023, and the saildrive was serviced and resealed that same year.
The sail inventory is extensive and well-maintained. Current sails include North 3Di mainsail with two reefs (never used), North 3Di J1 and J2 jibs (two seasons of ISORA racing each), a new North Tri Spinnaker on Facnor furler, and North offshore asymmetric spinnakers in A2, A5, and A1.5 configurations. A backup inventory covers older North 3Di and Dacron sails in multiple sizes, an Ullman storm jib and light jib, and a Code 0 with Selden single-line furler. Jib and spinnaker sheets were replaced one season ago.
