2015 Ker 46

This 2015 Ker 46 is a purpose-built racing yacht constructed by McConaghy Boats with a composite hull and 46-foot length. The boat is powered by a single 40 hp Yanmar diesel engine paired with a retractable propeller shaft. She has been continuously optimized for competitive offshore racing and carries an extensive inventory of upgrades, including a high modulus Hall Spar rig, Harken pedestal system controlling primary and main winches, and a full North Sails wardrobe of 3Di Raw and Helix sails.

The yacht is equipped with twin wheels, a spinnaker drop system, and upgraded winches featuring alloy lower sheaves on the primaries. Her racing pedigree reflects repeated podium finishes in IRC events across Asian waters, demonstrating strong performance under competitive conditions.

In 2024, the boat underwent comprehensive refurbishment work including new deck non-skid and gloss paint, carbon fiber re-clear coating on wheels, pedestals, and trim, and fresh clear coat on the mast, boom, and bowsprit. The standing rigging received a full mast service with dye testing, all soft loops were replaced, and rudder bearings were renewed. Below the waterline was refurbished with new antifoul and propeller coating applied. The engine, saildrive, and universal bearing all received full service, and all topsides were polished.
