2024 Beneteau First 44

The Beneteau First 44 is a 46-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for serious offshore cruising. The hull design prioritizes light-air performance and downwind handling through reduced wetted surface area relative to comparable production boats. A single 57 hp Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power. The deck layout emphasizes sail handling efficiency with a traveller, six winches, and hydraulic backstay, all designed for short-handed operation with controls led aft to the helm. Safe side decks with a raised toe rail support confident movement underway.

The yacht comes equipped with a custom North Sails wardrobe including mainsail, jib, and furling gennaker. Navigation is supported by a Garmin offshore electronics package. A teak cockpit and Luxe Trim Pack provide comfortable seating in the cockpit area, while a dedicated life raft locker is built into the deck structure.

Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins and two heads. The interior layout supports both cruising comfort and practical living for extended passages. A Yanmar diesel engine powers the yacht for auxiliary propulsion and maneuvering in calm conditions.
