This 2015 Pogo 12.50 is a 40-foot composite racing cruiser powered by a Volvo D1-30 diesel engine producing 27 hp. The boat is equipped with a carbon mast and standing rigging from 2015. A complete suit of sails is aboard: 2015 Incidences sails including a battened mainsail, asymmetrical spinnaker, and jib, along with 2018 Quantum sails comprising a three-reef mainsail, code zero, topsail jib, working jib, storm jib, and genoa. The genoa features an electric Facnor Flatdeck roller system updated in 2022. A Karver stacking system houses additional downwind sails.
Below deck, the interior offers one forward cabin and two aft cabins, each with Silvertex upholstery and comfort mattresses. Bed linens are custom-fitted. The forward cabin includes an ensuite head with shower and sink. An additional bathroom with shower and toilet serves the aft cabins. Roll-dampening canvas is fitted in the saloon and aft cabins, and UV protection covers the side portlights of the hardtop.
Navigation and communication systems include dual autopilots—a Raymarine electric and Lecomble & Schmidt hydraulic unit—with two NKE gyro compasses. Instruments comprise NKE wind and barometric station, compass, two Gyrographics displays, a B&G Vulcan 7-inch chart plotter with C-Map cartography, Koden radar fitted in 2018, AIS transceiver, and VHF radio. A marinized Intel computer running TimeZero supports chart work. Power management includes a Victron battery controller, three 95Ah service batteries installed in 2022, solar panels, and a 600W Watt & Sea hydrogenerator added in 2018. A 12-volt Aquabase watermaker produces 35 liters hourly. Hot and cold pressure water, heating, and a two-burner galley stove complete the systems. A Zodiac Fastroller dinghy with 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard is included.
The boat was completely demasted for inspection in 2018. The electric windlass was replaced in 2023 with remote control and chain counter. The hardtop canopy and genoa drum were updated in 2022, and systems including the sound system speakers, radar, hydrogenerator, and watermaker were installed or refitted in 2018. The boat has had one owner since 2018 and has not been chartered. A six-person life raft is aboard with next service due in May 2026.
