2015 Sabre 38 Salon Express

The 2015 Sabre 38 Salon Express is a fiberglass downeast cruiser powered by twin 600-horsepower Volvo diesel engines. Built for cruising couples, she combines ease of handling with comfort and efficiency. Joystick control and an optional Dynamic Positioning System make her straightforward to maneuver in tight spaces and allow her to hold position virtually at anchor for bridge openings or fuel dock approaches. A Caribe 9-foot RIB with a 2020 Mercury 9.9 outboard electric tilt motor is included.

The accommodations reflect thoughtful modern design. The owner's stateroom features a walk-around queen berth, while the lower lounge converts into a twin berth. The galley is open and L-shaped with abundant natural light, and benefits from a customized layout that eliminates the pass-through to the forward cabin and adds two extra shelves. The head includes a separate shower stall. An elevated mate seat forward-facing for visibility and a cross-cockpit aft seat that extends outboard with a button press provide flexible entertaining options. Upgraded interior equipment includes two refrigeration drawers and one freezer unit, a 32-inch television in the main salon, and enhanced lighting throughout.

Recent maintenance and upgrades reflect meticulous ownership. A complete 2026 service included replacement of seawater pumps, mixing elbows, exhaust risers, fuel coolers, and transmission cooler cleaning. New pods, props, and trim tab actuators were installed in 2024. A new inverter and swim ladder were added in 2023. The exterior received fresh bottom paint and Awlcraft topside paint with boot stripe and gold leaf striping in 2026. A new SureShade system with Bluetooth control and Sunbrella fabric replaced the previous canopy. Navigation and entertainment systems were upgraded with twin Garmin GPSMAP 8612XSV units and a Fusion Apollo stereo in 2025. The boat has been freshwater-maintained since 2022 and winter-stored indoors.
