The Wauquiez PS47 is a 47-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 2015 and represents the final production run of this model before the builder moved to the PS48. Designed and equipped for serious offshore voyaging, this boat was set up by its original owner over the course of extensive cruising to handle long-distance blue water passages. The yacht features a 110-horsepower Yammer diesel engine, a Watt & Sea 600-watt hydrogenator, and a professionally installed Victron Lithium battery system with a 250-amp Balmar alternator. Additional offshore-focused equipment includes a high-output watermaker, powerful electric winches, a bow thruster, bespoke dinghy davits, and a 33-kilogram Rocna anchor with 125 meters of high-tensile chain.
The accommodation layout spans three cabins and two heads with a focus on functionality and space. The aft cabin features a centerline queen berth—uncommon on aft-cockpit designs—alongside a large head with an enclosed shower. The galley to port offers substantial counter space and connects to the raised pilot saloon, which is well-lit by large fixed ports. The navigation station sits to port with access to all electrical controls. Forward, a guest cabin to starboard provides hanging lockers and over-under berths, while the guest head to port includes a separate shower. A VIP cabin forward features a queen berth and ample storage and hanging lockers.
The cockpit is designed for offshore safety and comfort, offering good shelter and protection. A recent major refit was completed in Thailand, with systems and structures brought up to full cruising standard. The boat has logged more than 48,000 miles and is proven for extended passages.
