The 2016 Axopar 28 is a 28-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by a single 300-horsepower Mercury Verado engine. Built for versatility across the Pacific Northwest, it cruises at 30 knots and reaches 42 knots at top speed. The boat combines fishing capability with family recreation, featuring a tow bar for water sports, downrigger mounts with wiring, and a rocket launcher for rod storage.
The cabin layout includes a sleeping cabin and a head with an electric toilet. Onboard amenities include a diesel cabin heater for year-round operation, a sunroof for natural light and ventilation, and a raw water spray-down system in the cockpit. Navigation and fishing electronics are comprehensive: Garmin systems with radar and AIS integration, autopilot with wireless steering remote for hands-free operation during fishing or slow cruising, and trolling function via the Mercury Vessel Control system. A wireless man-overboard lanyard provides safety equipment.
The Mercury Verado has accumulated 940 hours and received a recent engine inspection. The boat was kept in a boathouse with documented maintenance records and current service history.
