A 2016 Cobalt A40 built on a fiberglass hull with twin MerCruiser engines. This 39.5-foot cruiser combines day-boat performance with overnight accommodation. Reverse chines and an extended running surface support the boat's handling and lift, while automatic trim tabs assist at the helm. Dual propeller stern drives deliver the power characteristic of the design.

The helm features twin 12-inch multifunction touchscreens with navigation charts, real-time tide tables, and engine monitoring. A hydraulic swim platform lowers one foot below the waterline. The cockpit includes a centerline sun pad with flip-forward and aft-facing backrests, adaptable between transom seating and stern-facing lounging.
