2016 Cobalt A40

The 2016 Cobalt A40 is a 40-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with a 12-foot beam. Twin Volvo T-D6-400 diesel engines deliver 800 horsepower combined and feature joystick control for responsive maneuvering. The engines have logged just 471 hours; the Kohler generator shows 615 hours and powers the yacht's onboard systems.

The cockpit prioritizes both entertainment and comfort, with a spacious layout, plush seating, Sea Grass flooring, and cockpit air conditioning. A large retractable sunroof floods the space with natural light and allows fresh air circulation. An electric sunshade provides shade during strong sun, and a hydraulic swim platform facilitates water access and tender loading.

Equipment throughout reflects premium Cobalt specifications and factory upgrades: KVH satellite television, FLIR thermal imaging, Garmin radar and sonar, upgraded JL Audio stereo system with subwoofers and amplifiers, underwater lights, and joystick controls. The yacht has been freshwater-kept and stored under cover throughout its life.
