The 2016 Grand Soleil 58 is a fully equipped racing and cruising sailboat built to high specification. The 58-foot fiberglass hull spans 17 feet in beam and is powered by a 110-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The yacht accommodates three cabins and three heads, providing comfortable berths for extended cruising.
This boat has received extensive recent upgrades and maintenance. The mast and boom underwent full refitting at Madden Yacht Services in Annapolis during fall 2025, including hardware stripping, new paint, rewired lighting and electronics, and safety inspection of all fittings. An air conditioning system upgrade was completed in April 2025 with a new chiller unit. New Quantum Sails self-tacking jib was installed in August 2024, and a Reckmann furler drum replaced in November 2024. The propane system and regulator were upgraded in November 2024, and the hydraulic panel was rebuilt the same month.
Additional recent work includes a bottom job completed in April 2024 at Rybovich, new freshwater heads installed in February 2024, fuel transfer pump and manifold upgrade in March 2024, and new glass panels in the dodger that same month. The house battery bank was completely renewed with twelve new AGM batteries in January 2026, along with two new starter batteries. Electrical systems saw upgrades including installation of two Raymarine AXIOM2 pedestal plotters and a BRNKL monitoring system. Engine and generator received full service in March 2026.
