2016 Hanse 505

The 2016 Hanse 505 is a 50-foot composite sailing yacht designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co., built to deliver performance and comfort for serious cruisers and sailors. Powered by a 72 hp Volvo diesel engine, she carries a full sail plan and spinnaker. The hull, with its 7-foot rudder and 8-foot keel, is engineered for responsive handling and speed across a range of wind conditions. The deck layout centers on a spacious cockpit fitted with twin helms, electric winches, and all control lines led aft for efficient short-handed operation. Custom davits are installed, and the teak cockpit sole provides both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The interior offers three cabins and three heads plus two walk-in showers, arranged to maximize comfort and privacy. The main saloon is bright and open, lined with panoramic windows that flood the space with natural light. The layout balances living space with sleeping quarters suited to extended cruising with family or guests.
