2016 Jeanneau 64

The 2016 Jeanneau 64 is a 64-foot cruising sailboat built from fiberglass with a beam of 17.67 feet and a draft of 2.2 meters. The hull features a painted Dolphin Blue gelcoat with red and grey boot stripe, complemented by full teak decking on the sides and cockpit. A single 180-horsepower Volvo diesel engine with a four-blade flex-o-fold propeller powers the yacht to a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots. The engine had 1780 hours at last reporting, with new steering cables and drive shaft installed in 2021.

Accommodation spans five cabins and three heads. The layout includes a large master cabin aft, two forward queen cabins, a starboard lateral cabin with two bunks, and a bow crew cabin with two bunks. All cabins feature fans, and interior finishes include leather upholstery and varnished tables with multiple coats. The galley includes a Miele dishwasher.

Systems are comprehensive and well-maintained. Power comes from dual battery banks—24 volts for house systems and 12 volts for engine start—supported by a new 17.5-kilowatt Onan generator and three 450-watt solar panels installed in 2022. Cooling is provided by a 60,000-BTU AC chiller. A bow thruster and a Sea Recovery watermaker with 120-liter-per-hour capacity round out the mechanical systems. New rudder bearings were fitted in 2022, and bottom paint was applied in June 2022.

The sail plan comprises North Sails with a full batten main featuring in-boom furling, an electrically furling 110% genoa, a furling self-tacking staysail, and a North G1 code sail. Electric Harken winches and hydraulic backstay and vang support handling. Additional features include an electrically opening transom swim platform with ladder, retractable cockpit grill, remote-controlled pleated blinds, and an electric telescoping cockpit table.
