This 2016 Kadey-Krogen 52 is a full-displacement trawler built for serious offshore cruising. The fiberglass hull features Cook gel coat, hand-laid Knytex construction with closed-cell PVC sandwich core in the topsides, and blister-resistant vinylester resin below the waterline. Teak covers the aft and side decks, while the boat deck has a GripTex non-skid finish. Twin John Deere 4045TFM85 engines deliver 250 horsepower total, paired with ZF marine gears. The interior is finished throughout in handcrafted solid teak and veneers, with marine-grade plywood bulkheads and fiberglass hat section stringers.

The main saloon spans the width of the yacht and opens to the teak aft deck through dual weathertight aluminum doors with a retractable screen. A generous U-shaped starboard settee with cherry hi-lo table seats eight, while port-side reclining chairs offer a quiet retreat near the forward bookcase and bar. Five large opening windows provide excellent cross-ventilation and natural light. The galley sits forward on the starboard side behind a custom granite counter and backsplash. Four Sub-Zero drawer refrigerator and freezer units replace traditional cabinetry, preserving sightlines while expanding storage. A Blue Star four-burner stove, GE convection microwave, GE dishwasher, and Elkay stainless steel sink serve the cooking needs. The port galley wall includes extensive cabinetry and a dedicated buffet counter.

Three cabins provide flexible sleeping arrangements. The forward master features a custom island king berth with six points of ventilation—four large opening ports and two overhead hatches—plus deep storage beneath the mattress and two hanging lockers. The private ensuite head includes a spacious shower with glass door, granite vanity, and Dometic porcelain toilet. The starboard guest cabin offers a rare walk-around queen bed with large drawers and pneumatic lift storage accessed from beneath. The port den serves as a third stateroom or retreat space, with a pullout settee that converts into a guest bed and a Pullman berth on the forward bulkhead. A shared guest head between these two cabins features a dual-entry configuration, granite vanity, household-sized Dometic toilet, and separate shower. Washer and dryer units are discreetly housed in the companionway.

The pilothouse sits several steps above the main deck and functions as the command center, with a wide helm featuring two heavy-duty LeBroc chairs with integrated joystick controls. An Ultraleather L-shaped settee converts into a double watch berth and folds to become a work table. Dual Dutch doors port and starboard provide deck access and ventilation. Twin wing stations at the Portuguese bridge offer commanding visibility for docking.
